Steelers wide receiver Martavis Bryant is reportedly facing a one year suspension for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy.
Dejan Kovacevic was the first to report the news, with NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport confirming it. Rapoport also said that Bryant intends to appeal.
#Steelers WR Martavis Bryant is appealing his yearlong suspension for violating @NFL substance abuse policy. CBA spells it out clearly tho.

Bryant caught six touchdowns in 2015, plus this one in the postseason. If he’s out for an entire year, it would be a significant blow to the Pittsburgh offense.
Remember that Bryant was suspended for the first four games of the 2015 season, reportedly due to multiple failed marijuana tests. The next suspension is supposed to be ten games, not a full season, so it’s unclear what happened here in Bryant’s case.
