Marvin Lewis reportedly wants to keep coaching, not retire
Marvin Lewis finally saw his 16-year run with the Cincinnati Bengals come to an end on Monday, but we may not have seen the last of him coaching in the NFL.
According to Tom Pelissero and Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, Lewis is not planning to retire and wants to coach elsewhere.
Lewis has told people today he wants to keep coaching. Intriguing option for other teams. https://t.co/UpF0WbVGzU

As ESPN’s Adam Schefter notes, Lewis is also expected to have opportunities to work as a front office executive or a television analyst.
Former Bengals’ HC Marvin Lewis will have options for his future: coaching, front-office work or TV. He has contemplated all and now will get to determine what’s next.

Lewis is fairly young by head coaching standards at age 60, but it will be interesting to see if any NFL teams want to hire him. While he is certainly plenty experienced and managed to stick around with the same franchise for 16 years, he is 0-7 in the playoffs as a head coach. The Bengals were also been known for off-field drama and a lack of discipline on the field under Lewis, so teams might take that into consideration.
