Matthew Stafford’s wife has harsh words for Jalen Ramsey
Unsurprisingly, Jalen Ramsey’s GQ interview is eliciting some pretty strong reactions from around the NFL.
In a wide-ranging interview, Ramsey name-dropped pretty much every quarterback you can think of and offered up his opinion on them, which was often not charitable. The quotes have been the talk of the NFL today, but Matthew Stafford’s wife Kelly had a particularly strong repudiation by asking why GQ was interviewing Ramsey in the first place.

Funnily enough, the Detroit Lions quarterback got off pretty easy in Ramsey’s assessment compared to some of his peers. Ramsey referred to Stafford as “straight,” and while not “the best quarterback out there … he do what he gotta do.”
Most of Ramsey’s targets are shrugging off his comments and pushing them to the side, some more amusingly than others. It is safe to say you can count the Staffords among those who are not particularly impressed.
