Mike Vrabel is still willing to a cut body part for a Super Bowl

Winning a Super Bowl is one of the hardest things to pull off in sports, and New England Patriots Mike Vrabel once said he’s willing to go to surgical lengths just to raise the Vince Lombardi Trophy again.

Back in 2019, when he was still coaching the Tennessee Titans, Vrabel said during an appearance on “Bussin’ With the Boys” that he would cut off his penis if doing so would guarantee a Super Bowl win as a coach.

Over half a decade later, that stance remains the same.

During an appearance on the same podcast just before Super Bowl LX, Vrabel told hosts Will Compton and Taylor Lewan what he told someone who asked him about it again recently.

“I mean, I’d probably cut it in half. Leave her six,” Vrabel said.

#Patriots HC Mike Vrabel says he would probably only cut off half of a very important appendage for a Super Bowl.

That was one mic drop of an answer from Vrabel, who has three NFL championship rings, all as a player for the Patriots. This time around, he is on the cusp of winning his first as a head coach.

Of course, Vrabel was not serious about cutting off his family jewels for Super Bowl glory. Coaches have steered their teams to Super Bowl wins before without having to resort to such an act.

Vrabel has other non-barbaric ways to boost his team’s chances of winning it all, and he’ll put them to use on Sunday, when New England takes on the Seattle Seahawks at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.
