Miko Grimes explains why she deleted her Twitter account, rips Dolphins

Miko Grimes

When news came down Friday that Brent Grimes had agreed to a contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, many wondered whether the team ordered Grimes’ wifo Miko off social media as part of the deal. After all, the outspoken wife’s Twitter and Instagram accounts were suddenly deleted, and this came just days after she made headlines for her social media activity.

Not so, says Miko.

Miami Dolphins reporter Omar Kelly shared on Instagram a statement Miko provided him about her sudden disappearance from Twitter and Instagram. She told him she got off social media so that fans wouldn’t be able to contact her. She also ripped the Dolphins in the process, calling them a “dumpster fire.”

Miko Grimes comment

Not only did she call the Dolphins a “dumpster fire,” but she also promised she would be back on social media.

I’m sure that’s just what the world needs — more of Miko Grimes. The Bucs may be fans of her husband’s ability as a cornerback (they’re paying him around $6 million per season with the potential to make up to $16.5 million over two seasons), but something tells us they won’t be too happy when she starts tweeting again. Just wait until Jameis Winston or other Bucs players are on the receiving end of tweets like this.
