NFL Draft will proceed as scheduled on April 23-25
The NFL Draft will proceed as scheduled on April 23-25 next month.
Commissioner Roger Goodell sent a memo to teams on Thursday telling them that they will not postpone the draft. Goodell cited a lack of certainty that a future date would be any better, and the positive impact the event could have on fans, as reasons for keeping the date.
Here is the memo:

Goodell’s decision comes a day after several general managers shared their thoughts supporting a postponement.
There has been some concerns that certain teams under further government restrictions compared to teams located in other states/cities would be at a competitive disadvantage. To address those concerns, Goodell’s memo instructs teams to conduct draft operations at a location outside their team facility.
