Nick Bosa’s career with the San Francisco 49ers is not off to the best start.
The No. 2 overall draft pick injured his hamstring on Tuesday in his first practice with the team. The injury is a Grade 1 hamstring strain, which will take Bosa out the remaining three weeks of the offseason program. He should be ready for training camp in July.

Missing offseason team activities does not sound like much, but the concern is about whether this is the first of more injuries to come.
Bosa only played in three games with Ohio State last season after suffering an injury to a core muscle. He underwent surgery for it, though that did not stop the 49ers from taking him high in the draft.
Bosa racked up 17.5 sacks in 29 games at Ohio State. His older brother Joey has 28.5 sacks in three seasons with the Chargers but has also dealt with numerous injuries that have caused him to miss 13 games.
