The Tennessee Titans secured the first overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft with their loss to the Houston Texans on Sunday, and you may be surprised to see which player oddsmakers believe they will select.

Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders was, up until recently, the favorite to be taken with the No. 1 overall pick in the upcoming draft. That has changed at many sportsbooks since the Titans ended up with the top pick.

As of Tuesday evening, Odds Shark listed Miami quarterback Cam Ward as the favorite to be drafted first overall. Ward’s odds were listed at -135. Sanders had the next-best odds at +100. That was a massive shift for Ward in particular, who was given a +600 chance of being the top pick last week.

Colorado two-way star Travis Hunter, Sanders’ teammate, has also seen a dramatic shift. He had +240 odds to be the No. 1 pick last week and has since moved to +1100. That is likely because the New England Patriots, who do not need a quarterback, were in position to land the top overall pick before they beat the Buffalo Bills in Week 18.

The Titans could trade out of the No. 1 spot and put their trust in Will Levis, but that seems unlikely. They will probably draft either Sanders or Ward, but neither quarterback is viewed as a lock to go first at this point.

For what it’s worth, Shedeur’s father Deion Sanders had an enthusiastic reaction to some big Titans news on Tuesday.
