Patriots RB Sony Michel carted off with knee injury
New England Patriots running back Sony Michel left Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears with a knee injury, and it looked like it has the potential to be serious.
Michel was spun around on a tackle in the first half, and his knee bent awkwardly. He ended up being carted off the field, with the Patriots later announcing that he suffered a knee injury.

Michel had emerged as a legitimate No. 1 back for the Patriots, so any lengthy absence for him would tough for the team to overcome. He rushed for 98 or more yards in each of the past three games and scored four touchdowns during that span.
