Don’t expect to see Dez Bryant in a New England Patriots uniform anytime soon.
According to Michael Giardi of NFL Network, the Patriots “probably” won’t have any interest in Bryant, even after their surprising decision to cut wide receiver Kenny Britt on Wednesday.
Asked a #Patriots team source if they had any interest in Dez Bryant. "Probably no." As for Jordan Matthews re-entering the equation after week 1, was told he could be an option but not until October. He was released with a hamstring injury early in training camp.

In theory, the Patriots have space for a wide receiver, and Bryant is certainly a tantalizing thought. It helps that the free agent receiver seems to have interest in the team, and it would fulfill the sort of contending situation he’s looking for. Ultimately, though, the interest doesn’t look mutual at this time.
