We all knew Peyton Manning was returning to the Denver Broncos for the 2015 season after reports surfaced that he has agreed to take a pay cut, but the team made it official on Thursday.

That means Manning passed his yearly physical, which is something there was concern about after the 2014 season ended. There was some speculation that the Broncos might not want Manning back and could make him fail the physical for pretty much anything, but that clearly wasn’t an issue.
Realistically, the Broncos were probably working to get Manning to cut down on his $19 million salary for 2015. They were able to accomplish that, which should give them some room to bolster other areas of their roster. It will be interesting to see how Manning fares in Gary Kubiak’s offense.
