Phillip Lindsay has great quote about NFL Combine
Denver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay made history this week when he became the first offensive undrafted rookie to be selected to the Pro Bowl, and you can’t blame him for taking some time to rub it in the faces of those who overlooked him.
Lindsay, who rushed for more than 2,700 yards between his junior and senior season at the University of Colorado, was not invited to showcase his skills at the NFL Scouting Combine last year. When asked about that on Wednesday, he had a great idea for holding his own personal combine for those who decide which players to invite to the NFL Combine.
Phil Lindsay said he wants to hold his own combine for the folks who decide who gets an invite to the NFL Combine:
"I'm going to get them some cute little shorts, some weights, hopefully they get in shape. I'm going to give them a couple months and then send invites out.''

That sounds like an event that could do well on pay-per-view, if you ask me.
Lindsay is just nine yards shy of eclipsing the 1,000-yard rushing mark in his first NFL season. He’s also added 230 yards receiving and 10 total touchdowns, and he’s a perfect example of how some of the most NFL-ready players often go overlooked in the draft. Many expected the rookie the Broncos drafted in the third-round to be the team’s featured back in 2018, but that never panned out. Instead, Linday has overcome long odds to be recognized as one of the best players in football.
