Phillip Lindsay says he has warmed up to Melvin Gordon signing
Phillip Lindsay has gone through the full scale of emotions this offseason after the Denver Broncos signed Melvin Gordon.
Lindsay has clearly warmed up to the Gordon signing after initial misgivings, stating that he now believes he and Gordon could form a potent backfield duo in 2020.
On IG Live Phillip Lindsay told our own Terrell Davis "I was really upset at the beginning, I’m not going to lie” when he found out Melvin Gordon signed. Now his thinking has changed: “Once you get through the pride stuff and you guys work together, we can be a hell of a tandem."

Lindsay has not been shy about sharing his emotions. He was initially defiant, and admitted that the signing upset him. Now he seems determined to make the best of it.
Lindsay has rushed for 1,000 yards in each of his two NFL seasons. That may take a slight hit, but his role won’t be reduced much as long as he keeps producing.
