Report: Police identify ‘person of interest’ in incident at Janoris Jenkins’ home
Police are working to gather information regarding the man who was found dead at the home of New York Giants cornerback Janoris Jenkins on Tuesday, and it sounds as if they are making progress.
ESPN’s Josina Anderson reports that investigators have identified a “person of interest” in the case whom they intend to interview pending the results of a medical exam. The death has been ruled “highly suspicious.”
Police sources have indicated to me there's a "person of interest" that investigators are waiting to interview, pending the results of the medical examiner's report, following the discovery of a dead body at the NJ home of #Giants CB Janoris Jenkins, Tuesday morning.

The potential cause of death of the male victim, identified as Roosevelt Rene, was described to me this morning as "highly suspicious" however a police source underlined there was "not a clear-cut" explanation for Rene's demise, at this time. https://t.co/qHURkkCI3f

Anderson also notes that Jenkins is said to be doing well as he waits for the legal process to play out.
Multiple sources who have connected directly with Janoris Jenkins told me that the #Giants CB says he's "good" and "okay" and "waiting for the legal process to play out."
