Samson Nacua, the brother of Los Angeles Rams star wide receiver Puka Nacua, is under investigation after a video appeared to show him slapping a fan at a UFL game over the weekend.
Nacua, who is a wide receiver for the UFL’s Michigan Panthers, got into a verbal altercation with a fan on Saturday that turned physical. A video that went viral showed Nacua jawing with a fan behind the bench area when the Panthers were facing the St. Louis Battlehawks at the Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis, Mo.
In the video, Nacua is seen slapping a fan across the face after the fan leaned over the railing to say something.
Nacua then continued to exchange words with the fan as the receiver walked onto the field, where the game had just ended.

The UFL announced on Sunday that league officials were investigating the incident. Police have also gotten involved.
“We are conducting a thorough investigation into the incident and we are working to obtain video from The Dome at America’s Center that may have captured what led up to the encounter,” the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department said in a statement on Monday, according to TMZ.
The Panthers had just lost the game 32-27 when Nacua and the fan got into it.
Nacua, who is 27 and four years older than Puka, spent brief periods with Indianapolis Colts in 2022 and New Orleans Saints last season, though he did not make the roster with either team. He nearly scored the most insane touchdown of the preseason last year before being cut by the Saints.
Nacua and Kai Nacua, Puka and Samson’s other brother, both play for the Michigan Panthers. Samson is in his second stint with the UFL team.
