Marquette King is looking for a new team after being surprisingly cut by the Oakland Raiders last week, and it sounds like he would love to join one of their division rivals.
A rep for the free agent punter told 9 News in Denver’s Mike Klis that King would “love” to visit the Broncos and that they are “high on his list.”
Broncos have talked with punter Marquette King's agent. Said rep Wynn Silberman: "Marquette would love an opportunity to come visit there. Obviously, Denver is a punter's dream. They're high on his list.'' It's no secret the Broncos want more from their Kicker-Punter. #9news

King has become one of the top punters in the league and was second-team All-Pro in 2016. He has averaged 42.3 net yards per punt during his career. He earned a big contract from the Raiders that called for him to be paid just under $3 million per season through 2020, which had a lot to do with the team cutting him. Another more interesting reason has been cited for his release by the Raiders.
