Ramon Foster: Vontaze Burfict wasn’t only Bengal who spat at Steelers
Apparently, Vontaze Burfict wasn’t the only Cincinnati Bengal who was engaging in some inappropriate extracurricular activities against Pittsburgh on Saturday night.
Offensive lineman David DeCastro claimed on Monday that Burfict spat on him during the Steelers’ wild card win. Not only did fellow offensive lineman Ramon Foster corroborate DeCastro’s story on Tuesday, he claimed that there was a second spitter.
“He wasn’t the only guy,” Foster told 93.7 The Fan. “I will say that he had another culprit out there with him.
“For somebody like DeCastro, who’s a guy that doesn’t say a whole lot, to kind of speak out about it, I think you have to believe him,” Foster said. “And you have to feel for a guy that had that happen to him.”
There’s no way of knowing who’s telling the truth here, but would it really surprise anyone if Burfict pulled this sort of thing? After all, it was hardly the only incident the out of control Cincinnati linebacker engaged himself in, and his actions earned him a significant suspension. We’re left to wonder who this alleged second spitter was, but what is certain is that Burfict wasn’t the only Bengal completely out of control.
