Dallas Cowboys defensive end Randy Gregory, who is currently suspended 14 games for multiple violations of the NFL’s substance abuse policy, has reportedly failed another drug test.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, Gregory would face a year-long suspension for another positive test.

#Cowboys DE Randy Gregory can appeal his looming banishment & suspension. Per @NFL: “The league has not been notified of any new violations”

Gregory was initially suspended four games for his second violation of the league’s drug policy. His first one came when he was caught smoking marijuana at the NFL Combine before the 2015 draft. The 24-year-old reportedly failed multiple drug tests after the four-game ban and was suspended an additional 10 games, bringing his total to 14 games for the 2016 season.
The Cowboys took a chance on drafting Gregory in the second round despite his off-field issues, and it has not paid off. It sounds like the attempt he made to get clean over the summer failed, and it’s possible the former Nebraska star will never play in Dallas.
