Randy Gregory’s NFL career may not be finished after all.
The veteran pass rusher took a visit with the Seattle Seahawks on Wednesday, according to Field Yates of ESPN. The visit comes a little more than two months after Gregory’s bizarre tenure with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was cut short.

The Buccaneers had signed Gregory to a 1-year contract in April, but he did not report to training camp. Gregory essentially ghosted the team. The confusing saga ended about a month later, when the Buccaneers and Gregory came to an agreement that saw the veteran released. At the time, it was reported that he was likely to retire.
Gregory is still only 31 and had 3.5 sacks in 16 games with Denver and San Francisco in 2023, so he can certainly still play. If he is taking free agent visits, one would imagine he wants to do so. That is only going to leave the Buccaneers with more questions about why he didn’t show up to play for them.
