The New York Jets are serious about moving down from No. 3 overall in the NFL Draft, and they may have an interesting suitor.
According to Connor Hughes of The Athletic, the Jets have had “early talks” with the Washington Redskins about the third selection, and they are having discussions about the pick with several teams.

What the Redskins would do with that pick is an intriguing question. They have definitely looked at quarterbacks and one openly wants to be drafted by them, but it’s not clear that’s the direction they’d be looking in. It would certainly have the potential to shake up the top ten, however.
