Reggie Bush suing city of St. Louis over Edward Jones Dome injury

Reggie Bush

Reggie Bush intends to take legal action against the city of St. Louis following the injury he suffered on the concrete strip at the city-owned Edward Jones Dome last Sunday.

Bush tore his MCL after slipping on the concrete following a push out of bounds. The injury ended his season and he has hired an attorney with plans to sue the city, likely for gross negligence, according to CBS Sports’s Jason La Canfora.

You can see a video of the injury here.

The NFLPA reportedly contacted the NFL and the hazard has been fixed. That comes as no consolation for Bush, nor should it. Bush is on the wrong side of 30 now and as a running back at that age, severe knee injuries can be career-threatening.

Bush isn’t messing around, either. His attorney, Shawn Holley, was part of the team that represented O.J. Simpson during his murder trial.
