Reuben Foster is not going without an NFL team for very long.
Two days after being cut by the San Francisco 49ers for a domestic violence arrest, Foster was claimed off waivers, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Foster was waived by the 49ers on Sunday after being arrested at the team’s hotel in Tampa on Saturday night. He reportedly was in a fight with the same woman who accused him of assaulting her earlier this year. The woman later recanted her February claims, which led to the charges being dropped.
Foster has been in an array of trouble since being drafted No. 31 overall by San Francisco last year. In addition to the two domestic violence arrests, he was also arrested on a weapons and marijuana charge. He was suspended two games to start the season.
