Richard Sherman tells radio host ‘I will ruin your career’
Richard Sherman got into it with a radio host after his Tuesday press conference and threatened the media member.
Sherman got into it with Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell during Sunday’s game after Seattle called for a pass play from the 1-yard line.
710 ESPN Radio host in Seattle Jim Moore asked Sherman about the confrontation Tuesday. Sherman said he was contesting the play call because of what happened in the Super Bowl. He then shot back at Moore asking whether Moore had a better idea. Then after the press conference ended, Sherman threatened Moore.
From the Seattle Times:
As Sherman walked off the stage and down a walkway that headed out of the auditorium, he passed Moore and said “You don’t want to go there. You do not. I’ll ruin your career.”
Said Moore: “You’ll ruin my career? How are you going to do that?”
Said Sherman: “I’ll make sure you don’t get your media pass anymore.”
Moore then asked Sherman if that was the case, and Sherman said it was.
Here’s the audio:
Sherman usually has a lot of intelligent and insightful things to say, so it’s curious why he would say that to Moore. That was very stupid on his part.
