Gamblers keep cashing on the most savage Angel Reese bet

A group of gamblers has discovered a WNBA prop bet that is downright ruthless, and it has also been incredibly profitable.

Several videos have generated attention on social media over the last week that show a group of content creators for the Stadium Live app anxiously watching Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky. The reason for their unwavering dedication to the games is that they keep betting on Reese to miss her first shot of the game.

Reese made her first shot in the Sky’s 93-58 season-opening loss to the Indiana Fever on May 17. She has missed her first shot in each of Chicago’s five games since.

Needless to say, the boys who have been betting on Reese to miss her first shot are on quite the heater.

You can see a couple more videos of the crew celebrating Reese’s consistent failure to convert when she takes the ball to the basket:

Stadium Live is a free app where you accumulate points, not actual money. The points can be used for prizes but not redeemed for cash. More traditional sports betting apps like FanDuel do not offer a line for Reese to make or miss her first shot. And if they had, they probably would have taken the prop bet down by now.

Reese recently became the fastest WNBA player to get to 500 career points and 500 career rebounds, accomplishing the feat in 38 total games. Of course, many of the rebounds have been made possible by her own embarrassing sequences of missing shots.

The guys who are riding Reese’s misses have seemingly discovered a gold mine.
