Richard Sherman gloats after beating Tom Brady
The Seahawks came back to beat to beat the Patriots 24-23 on Sunday, much to the delight of Richard Sherman.
Sherman, a second-year corner from Stanford, intercepted Patriots quarterback Tom Brady in the third quarter. His teammate, safety Earl Thomas, turned the trick in the fourth quarter.
The two picks plus the team’s comeback prompted Sherman to gloat about beating Brady through a pair of tweets:
Brady sure looks like a man who turned the 12thMan against us twitter.com/RSherman_25/st…
— Richard Sherman (@RSherman_25) October 15, 2012
Sherman deleted the tweet that says “U Mad Bro” shortly after posting it Sunday night. His second tweet was a reference to comments Brady made in the week leading up to the game. Brady had said he was aiming to make the noted Seahawks fans turn against their team. That never happened, and neither did a Patriots win.
New England blew a 23-10 lead with nine minutes left and lost the game. Whatever trash Brady was talking got sent right back to him.
