Richie Incognito gets 2-year, $14 million contract extension from Raiders

Richie Incognito

The Oakland Raiders appear to be happy with their addition of Richie Incognito for the 2019 season.

Apparently pleased with the play of the veteran left guard, the Raiders gave Incognito a 2-year contract extension. NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport says the deal is worth $14 million over two years, with $6.35 million guaranteed.

Incognito began the season serving a two-game suspension for violating the league’s personal conduct policy. The 36-year-old did not play in 2018, but ended up playing 12 games for the Raiders this season.

The Raiders are moving to Las Vegas for next season and should have Incognito and Kolton Miller blocking on the left side of their line. Which quarterback they’re blocking for is a different question.
