
Russell Wilson is now the NFL’s highest-paid player.
Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks spent all night negotiating and finally came to agreement on a four-year, $140 million contract extension. The deal includes $107 million guaranteed and a $65 million signing bonus, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Wilson had given the Seahawks an April 15 deadline to reach agreement on a new contract. The deadline matched the start of Seattle’s offseason activities.
The 30-year-old franchise QB celebrated the deal with a video alongside wife Ciara:

Wilson is scheduled to make $17 million in 2019, and the four-year extension will keep him with Seattle through 2023.
