Sammy Watkins was supposed to be ready for training camp, but the wide receiver is no longer sure that that timeline will work out.
The Bills receiver told ESPN’s Vaughn McClure that he’s still pushing for training camp, but he may not be ready in time.

It’s never good to hear that a player as important as Watkins may not be ready for training camp, but he doesn’t sound too concerned about the injury.
We heard that Watkins broke his foot back in May, and due to the fact that it was addressed quickly and early, there was optimism surrounding his recovery. Perhaps is not progressing as quickly as he had hoped he would.
