Saquon Barkley on Daniel Jones: ‘Wait until he wins two Super Bowls’
At least for now, locker room confidence in the New York Giants’ much-maligned Daniel Jones draft pick appears to be very high.
Giants running back Saquon Barkley offered a rather bold take on Jones, who impressed in Friday’s workout. The running back seems to believe that Jones is capable of winning multiple Super Bowls and proving his doubters wrong.
Saquon Barkley: “Daniel Jones had himself a day yesterday in practice … Everyone thinks he’s a terrible pick, but wait until he wins two Super Bowls and see what they’re saying then.” #Giants pic.twitter.com/HhF44ZfgQc

A lot of people on the outside weren’t big fans of the Jones pick. Those feelings were obviously not shared by the front office, but Jones’s new teammates appear to be buying in, too. They see him work every day, so it may well be that they understand the Jones pick a lot more than the many outsiders who don’t.
