Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley pulled an awesome move at the team’s Super Bowl parade on Friday.
In video posted on social media, Barkley was seen spotting an Eagles ball boy while greeting fans along the parade route. Barkley seemingly asked the ball boy if he was part of the parade, and the ball boy could be seen shaking his head no.
Barkley’s response was to pick the ball boy up and bring him along as part of the parade, which got a huge cheer from the assembled crowd.

Saquon Barkley saw the Eagles ball boy in the crowd and pulled him over the fence to join them in the parade.

It’s pretty cool that Barkley would so easily recognize one of the ball boys, especially among such a big crowd of people.
This is one of many reasons why Barkley has so endeared himself to Philadelphia fans. They already liked him for leaving the rival New York Giants to play for the Eagles, then put together an outstanding season. His viral postgame celebrations following the team’s Super Bowl LIX win did not hurt either.
Barkley rushed for 2,005 yards and 13 touchdowns in his first season with Philadelphia. He also repeatedly demonstrated that he is a great teammate as well. This is even further evidence of that.
