Sean McVay high school football highlights are impressive
Well before he was an NFL head coach taking his team to the Super Bowl, Sean McVay was a successful athlete.
McVay played quarterback at Marist School in Brookhaven, Georgia, running the wishbone offense. He was primarily a rushing quarterback and actually led the team to the state 4A title as a senior. He was famously named the state offensive player of the year, beating out Calvin Johnson — a likely Hall of Fame wide receiver.
Just what did McVay look like as a high school quarterback? This highlight video will show you — it’s impressive.
That move to fake out the defender at the 1:30 mark was the best.
McVay went on to play college ball at Miami (Ohio) University as a wide receiver. He caught 39 passes for 312 yards in three seasons for the RedHawks before embarking on his coaching career.
