Steelers say three teams have reached out about Antonio Brown trade
The Pittsburgh Steelers intend to trade Antonio Brown this offseason if they receive an offer that they deem fair, and it sounds like there are several teams that have interest in adding the star wide receiver.
In an appearance on NFL Network Friday, Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert said three teams have reached out about the possibility of acquiring Brown. However, Colbert reiterated that Pittsburgh is not going to trade Brown unless the return is worthwhile.
#Steelers GM Kevin Colbert says three teams have reached out so far on a potential Antonio Brown trade. Won’t say what a team would need to offer for Brown, but emphasizes: “If it doesn’t benefit us, we won’t do it.” Full interview airing now on @nflnetwork

Brown became a headache for the Steelers last season, and the controversial tweets he sent about Ben Roethlisberger and others have reportedly scared at least one interested team off. There’s no denying the impact Brown makes on the field, but it makes sense for teams to worry if he would become a distraction and be more trouble than he’s worth.
Of course, Colbert has plenty of incentive to not tell the truth about the Brown trade talks. He’s trying to put the Steelers in the best position possible, so any update he shares should be taken with a grain of salt.
