Su’a Cravens: I need to follow ‘what makes me happy’
Su’a Cravens took to social media after informing the Redskins he had been contemplating retiring at just 22 years old.
Cravens, who is entering his second season after being selected in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft, caught teammates and coaches off guard over the weekend by revealing he has considered stepping away from the game after one season in the league. As a result, Washington placed Cravens on the exempt/left squad list on Sunday.
Wanting to comment on the matter, Cravens posted a video on Snapchat saying he doesn’t feel a need to explain himself to anyone and needing to follow “what makes him happy.” You can take a listen below.
