Report: Teams could trade into first round for Davis Webb

There is some serious buzz around Cal quarterback Davis Webb on the verge of the NFL Draft.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported Wednesday that Webb may be a trade target for teams moving into the late first round, with one scout even comparing him to Dak Prescott.
Wouldn’t be surprised to see a team trade back into round 1 for #Cal’s Davis Webb. One national scout said “He has Dak-like intangibles.”

Projections have indicated Webb is a second- or third-round pick, but there is clearly late momentum in his favor on the eve of the draft. We know of one team that may want him, and they sit right on the borderline between the first and second rounds.
