Teddy Bridgewater still has a long way to go before he is ready for game action again, but the Minnesota Vikings quarterback is confident he will play meaningful football at some point in 2017.
Bridgewater, who returned to practice this week for the first time since his devastating knee injury over a year ago, said Thursday that he “definitely” believes he will play this season.
Teddy Bridgewater said he's not focused on when he'll play, but he said, "I definitely believe I'll play this year."

Bridgewater’s reps are being limited, but he has no physical limitations. He is still likely two or three weeks away from being able to play on Sundays, but the latest reports we have heard about Sam Bradford’s knee do not sound encouraging. Assuming Bridgewater does not suffer any setbacks, he may be ready to start for the Vikings before Bradford is.
