Tedy Bruschi recovering after suffering another stroke
It has been nearly 15 years since former New England Patriots linebacker Tedy Bruschi suffered a stroke and fought his way back to play several more seasons, and unfortunately it has happened again.
Bruschi’s foundation, Tedy’s Team, released a statement on Friday revealing that Bruschi suffered a stroke on the 4th of July. Fortunately, the 46-year-old recognized the warning signs immediately and was able to get medical attention as quickly as possible. He is said to be “recovering well.”

Bruschi has dedicated much of his life to raising awareness about strokes since he suffered his in 2005. He wrote a book about the experience in 2007 and has since run in multiple Boston Marathons. Here’s hoping Bruschi is once again able to make a full recovery.
