Terrelle Pryor says he is recovering from broken ankle
New York Jets wide receiver Terrelle Pryor has made no secret of the fact that he’s coming back from an ankle injury, but he didn’t mention how serious it actually was.
Pryor said Monday he broke his ankle in May, and is still working on coming all the way back from it. Additionally, he’s dealing with some hip problems while his body adjusts to running with such frequency again.
#Jets WR Terrelle Pryor said he broke his ankle in May. Dealing with some hip issues as he gets accustomed to running more again. Taking 10 snaps per practice. He says he will not play Thursday vs Washington, but feels like he needs to play at some point in preseason. #JetsCamp

Pryor’s ankle has apparently been giving him trouble for a while now. We knew he had some sort of procedure in the offseason, too, but this is the first time we’ve heard about the severity of it. Perhaps all this will lead to a better season with New York than his bust of a 2017 with Washington.
