The real test for Brady will come in September when he makes his debut on NFL coverage. The early returns here are encouraging, though, and it suggests he has been putting the work in despite some doubting whether he would ever even do a game.

Brady has shown he can break down a game he has been watching, and he has plenty of thoughts on the state of the NFL. What will be really telling is how good he is at breaking down plays in real time and offering insight into what might be happening in any given moment.
