Perhaps there’s been a bit of a thaw in the drama within the New England Patriots’ organization.
According to James Palmer of NFL Network, Tom Brady’s personal trainer, Alex Guerrero, has been a regular at Gillette Stadium during training camp, which may be a bit of a shift.
Here is an interesting tidbit as the #Patriots get set to begin another season: Sources tell me and @Rapsheet that Tom Brady’s trainer Alex Guerrero has actually been at Gillette Stadium on a daily basis. Perhaps a change from last season.

Since late last season, there has been talk of a rift between Guerrero and coach Bill Belichick, with the latter supposedly limiting the former’s access to the team. This has been denied by both parties, but it’s a subplot that hasn’t gone away, especially when it came out that Guerrero-trained receiver Julian Edelman violated the league’s drug policy. That is a link that Brady was very critical of. Perhaps it’s simply a sign of business as usual, but it certainly indicates he hasn’t been banned or distanced or anything of the sort.
