Tony Dorsett backing Ezekiel Elliott to break his Cowboys’ rookie rushing record
Tony Dorsett currently holds the Dallas Cowboys rookie rushing record, but not for much longer, and he plans to be there to see his record fall.
Dorsett, who rushed for 1,007 yards as a rookie in 1977, will be on hand Sunday to see Ezekiel Elliott, who goes into the game with 1,005 yards, break his record. What’s more, Dorsett has given Elliott his stamp of approval.

There’s little question now that Elliott will break the Hall of Famer’s rookie rushing record. The bigger question is whether he’ll achieve even more ambitious targets, as one teammate thinks he’s capable.
