TreVeyon Henderson is among the top running back prospects for next week’s NFL Draft, and he visited with an interesting team on Wednesday.
Henderson had a visit with the Denver Broncos, who lacked a strong running game in 2024. 9News in Denver’s Mike Klis points out that Broncos head coach Sean Payton likes running backs who can also catch the ball, which Henderson can do.

As a senior with Ohio State last season, Henderson rushed for 1,016 yards and 10 touchdowns. He also caught 27 passes for 284 yards and 1 touchdown.
During his career with the Buckeyes, Henderson rushed for 3,761 yards and 42 touchdowns, and he caught 77 passes for 853 yards and 6 touchdowns.
The Broncos’ leading rusher last season was Javonte Williams, who had 513 yards and 4 TDs. Jaleel McLaughlin rushed for 496 yards and 1 touchdown. Williams caught 52 passes for 346 yards.
Henderson and his Ohio State teammate, Quinshon Judkins, are regarded as some of the top running back prospects. Ashton Jeanty is typically ranked as the No. 1 RB. Henderson also had a visit with the Pittsburgh Steelers this week.
