Twitter reacts to Chiefs reaching first Super Bowl in 50 years
The Kansas City Chiefs were a strong franchise under Marty Schottenheimer in the 1990s and have been revived under Andy Reid’s leadership since 2013. But until Sunday, they hadn’t made a Super Bowl since 1969. That all ended thanks to a win over the Tennessee Titans in the AFC Championship Game.
The Chiefs came from behind for the second week in a row. After being down 17-7, KC answered with 28 straight points to win 35-24 and advance to the Super Bowl.
Here are some of the Twitter reactions to the team’s big win and return to the Super Bowl.
