Tyler Lockett reportedly signs three-year extension with Seahawks
The Seattle Seahawks have lost numerous veteran players since the end of last season, but a key piece of the team’s offense will be sticking around for several more years after Tyler Lockett agreed to a contract extension.
Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reported on Wednesday that Lockett and the Seahawks have agreed to a three-year extension worth just shy of $32 million. The deal includes $20 million guaranteed.
#Seahawks are extending WR Tyler Lockett: three years with a base value of $31.8 million, max value of $37.8 million and $20 million guaranteed, source says. Another deal the team wanted to get done before the season.

Lockett, a former third-round pick, is entering his fourth season with the Seahawks. While he isn’t a No. 1 receiver, he has averaged around 45 receptions and 605 yards per season. With the information Doug Baldwin shared about his knee injury this week, it seems like Lockett could be leaned on heavily in 2018. Russell Wilson should be pleased to have him around beyond this season.
