Tyreek Hill suffered a gruesome leg injury during his Miami Dolphins’ game against the New York Jets at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Fla., on Monday night — the kind people never forget.
The Dolphins were leading 10-3 early in the third quarter and had a 3rd-and-8 at the Jets’ 34-yard line. Tua Tagovailoa passed to Hill, who caught the ball near the sideline and was tackled as he was going out of bounds. Hill’s left leg got bent the wrong way from the knee down.
Prayers up to Tyreek Hill, man. A serious injury, it looks AWFUL. pic.twitter.com/Tn0yE9qnhT

That looked completely horrendous. There was immediate speculation that he dislocated his knee and suffered an LCL tear.

Look away if squeamish.
Plants his Left foot, suspecting LCL++ tear and knee dislocation.
Meniscus+ACL could be implicated as well.
Just have to hope there’s no significant nerve damage, but this could certainly be career-threatening. pic.twitter.com/2wpjUEhANA
Hill was taken to a local hospital for treatment and observation. He had caught all six passes thrown his way in the game for 67 yards.
Hill entered the game with 15 catches for 198 yards and a touchdown on the season.
