Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill had put trade rumors to rest at the start of the offseason, but seemingly revived them with his social media activity on Sunday.
Hill sparked speculation with a few posts on social media. First, he reposted a fan’s post asking Dolphins supporters how they would feel about trading Hill, adding a smiling emoji to it.

Hill then reacted to a post from Over The Cap’s Jason Fitzgerald, who suggested Tyreek is a candidate to be traded during the NFL Draft. Hill reposted that, too, adding a peace sign emoji. He then made another post that consisted solely of the same emoji.

Hill has long used the peace sign as one of his trademark celebrations. In this context, it also reads like a farewell message, especially in the context of the posts he was amplifying.
Hill essentially demanded a trade in comments following the team’s final game of the season. He walked those remarks back roughly a month later and suggested he was going to remain with the Dolphins for 2025.
It is entirely possible Hill is having some fun on social media. He has certainly done that before. Whatever the case, he appears determined to keep Dolphins fans on edge throughout the offseason.
Hill is coming off a rough season, thanks largely to poor quarterback play while Tua Tagovailoa was injured. The standout wide receiver caught 81 passes for 959 yards and six touchdowns.
