Tyreek Hill has classy response to questions about winning MVP
Tyreek Hill’s historic season has gotten him some buzz as an NFL MVP candidate, but the Miami Dolphins wide receiver is not giving that possibility much thought.
Hill was asked if he thought it was realistically possible for a wide receiver to win MVP, which has never happened before in league history. The Dolphins star shrugged it off and admitted he did not think it was likely — and that he did not necessarily want to win it anyway.
Tyreek Hill said he doesn’t think a wide receiver winning MVP is realistic.
“I’d be happier if Tua got it.”

“I’d be happier if Tua got it,” Hill told reporters, referencing quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
That’s a nice sentiment from Hill, who has been Tagovailoa’s biggest fan for a while now. He has touted one teammate for MVP honors before, too.
Hill leads the NFL with 1,481 receiving yards through 12 games, and he is openly chasing the 2,000-yard mark. That might get him some attention in the MVP race, but he is probably correct that even that would not be enough.
