Christian Kirk suffered a season-ending injury during his Jacksonville Jaguars’ 30-27 loss to the Green Bay Packers at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, Fla., on Sunday.
Kirk broke his collarbone while falling to the ground as he attempted to haul in pass that he had leaped in the air for. The Jaguars receiver fell onto his left arm and injured his collarbone in the process.

Adding insult to the actual injury, Kirk was not able to make the catch.
Kirk had 2 catches for 59 yards in the game before exiting with his injury. He had just 27 catches for 379 yards this season prior to the injury.
Not only is this bad news for the Jags because they’re losing one of their top receivers, but this also takes a trade chip away from them. Kirk had just been mentioned as a trade target for teams around the league, but now teams won’t be trading for a player who is out for the season.
