Video: Stefon Diggs throws helmet in anger while Vikings have lead
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs appeared to be unhappy with his lack of involvement in the game plan early in Sunday’s playoff matchup with the New Orleans Saints.
Despite his team leading 13-10 in the third quarter, Diggs threw his helmet in frustration on the sideline after one of Minnesota’s drives stalled out. He had not been targeted in the game at all to that point.

Diggs was then seen talking something over with Kirk Cousins and Dalvin Cook.

Diggs probably felt like he could have helped the team more, but throwing your helmet in anger during a playoff game in which you are leading is not a good look. He could claim his lack of targets was not the source of his frustration, but he has a history of being upset with his role in Minnesota’s offense.
Earlier this year, Diggs’ name came up in trade rumors and he appeared to fuel some of the speculation himself. He later said he is “happy” with the team, but he certainly didn’t look it in New Orleans.
