Stefon Diggs now says he is ‘happy’ with Vikings
It wasn’t that long ago that Stefon Diggs wanted a trade away from the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings were 2-2 three weeks ago, not throwing the ball, and Diggs said there was some truth to the trade rumors.
Since then, Minnesota has gone on a four-game winning streak and showcased its passing game. That’s led to a turnaround in attitude from Diggs. Asked about his feelings after Thursday night’s 19-9 win over Washington, Diggs told NFL Network’s Steve Smith he is now “happy” with the Vikings.
“I’m happy with the guys I’m playing with. I’m happy with the staff that we have. I’m happy with this team. I’m happy to be a part of it more than anything, so at this point, I’m thankful,” Diggs said.
Diggs has consecutive 7-catch, 143-yard games and has been a big part of the team’s offense recently. Maybe all that trade talk served as a good reminder to Minnesota’s coaching staff that they should be utilizing Diggs in the passing game.
