Vikings to consider Jake Long for banged-up offensive line
The undefeated Minnesota Vikings will get some much needed rest to recover over their bye week, and they will also take that opportunity to look into some options for their offensive line.
One player they will consider is former No. 1 overall draft pick Jake Long, according to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen.

Long only played in four games last season with the Atlanta Falcons as he recovered from torn ACL injuries in consecutive seasons. He remains a free agent after refusing to sign a medical waiver for the Baltimore Ravens.
The Vikings have dealt with multiple injuries on their line. Matt Kalil is out for the season with a hip injury; Andre Smith missed Sunday’s game with an elbow injury; and Alex Boone has fought through a hip injury.
